In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: hisi_sas: Fix NULL pointer exception during user_scan() invokes updated sas_user_scan() for channel 0, and if successful, iteratively scans remaining channels (1 to shost-max_channel) via scsi_scan_host_selected() in commit 37c4e72b0651 ("scsi: Fix sas_user_scan() to handle wildcard and multi-channel scans"). How they combine: KEV, or a dependable Metasploit module, means patch now regardless of CVSS. High CVSS + low EPSS + no exploit is real but not an emergency - schedule it. Low CVSS but KEV-listed still gets patched now. The verdict above already weighed these for you; this is how it got there.
